1 in 8 Women Will Be Diagnosed with Breast Cancer in Their Lifetime

October is here and Manny’s will once again be championing “Pinktober”  and “Drink Pink” to raise Breast Cancer awareness.  National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), is an annual international health campaign organized every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.  In the month of October, La Familia Lopez will honor the loving memory of their daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Debbie Lopez, who lost her battle with breast cancer on February 12, 2012.  As a tribute to Debbie and her fierce battle with this deadly disease, her friends and family battle on in her name, continuing to help others that need it.  They continue the tradition of raising funds for the “Debbie Lopez Fund”  for Saint Luke’s Women’s Health by hosting several events throughout the year including:  Pinktober for the month of October at Manny’s,  the annual “Drink Pink” party, and the “Double Down for DLo Texas Hold’em Tournament in the springtime. During the month of October, Manny’s and La Familia Lopez has committed to donate $0.50 from all Drink Pink products sold to the Debbie Lopez Fund at Saint Luke’s Cancer Center.  The fund assists women during treatment that face financial hardships.  Join your Amigos at Manny’s for the cause. Join our fight!
